Girl Rising at American Center
The American Center and USAID will present the film screening of
'Girl Rising', a documentary from Academy Award-nominated director
Richard E. Robbins to celebrate Women's History month on Tuesday, March
24 at 5.30 p.m. at the American Center, Galle Road, Colombo 3.
The screening will be followed by an interactive discussion with two
Sri Lankan gender experts, Salma Yusuf (Gender Specialist) and Udeni
Thewarapperuma (Gender Specialist SPICE Program).
Harcourts International Sports Meet
The Annual Inter House Sports Meet of Harcourts International School
will be held on Thursday, March 26 from 9.00a.m. at the Shalika
Grounds,Colombo 5.
Mrs. Bashah Azmi, wife of the High Commissioner of Malaysia will be
the chief guest.
Aloysian Fiesta 2015
A 'fun-filled' evening of entertainment, organised by the Old Boys'
Association (Colombo Branch) St. Aloysius' College, Galle to encourage
'young passed out students' of the school to meet up with their former
schoolmates, on Friday, March 27 from 8.00pm at Barefoot Cafe, Galle
Road, Colombo 3 with a food court, music, dancing memorabilia,
competitions, prizes and surprises galore.
