Dharmaraja beat Kingswood by an innings at 109th 'Big Match'

Dharmaraja College Kandy beat Kingswood College Kandy by an innings and 50 runs in their 109th Big Match concluded at Pallekele Stadium yesterday.

Rajans all-rounder Ruchira Pupulewatte scored 109 and took three wickets for no runs which is the highlight of the game.

He became the 17th centurion for Rajans after Ruskhan Suriarachchi who scored 113 in the centenary 'Big Match' in 2006.

Kingswoodians have produced eleven centurions so far in the 'Big Match series.

Rajans scored 306 for 6 wickets declared in their first innings and got Kingswood all out 152 in their first innings and 104 in the second innings.
