Dharmaraja beat Kingswood by an innings at 109th 'Big Match'

Dharmaraja College Kandy beat Kingswood College Kandy by an innings
and 50 runs in their 109th Big Match concluded at Pallekele Stadium
yesterday.
Rajans all-rounder Ruchira Pupulewatte scored 109 and took three
wickets for no runs which is the highlight of the game.
He became the 17th centurion for Rajans after Ruskhan Suriarachchi
who scored 113 in the centenary 'Big Match' in 2006.
Kingswoodians have produced eleven centurions so far in the 'Big
Match series.
Rajans scored 306 for 6 wickets declared in their first innings and
got Kingswood all out 152 in their first innings and 104 in the second
innings. Dharmaraja College: 1st innings 306 for 6 wickets
declared in 67 overs (Ruchira Pupulewatte 109, Kavishka Dissanayake 43,
Dilshan Gunasinghe 42, Nivantha Herath 57 n.o, Tharindu Liyanage 2 for
95, Vimukthi Wijesiriwardene 2 for 24).
Kingswood College: 1st innings 152 all out in 42.1 overs (Dilshan
Walisundara 41, Ruwantha Hathurusinghe 40, Vimukthi Wijesiriwardene 15,
Tharindu Liyanage 11, Lahiru Samarakoon 6 for 56). 2nd innings 104 all
out in 33.4 overs (Avishka Chandrasiri 22, Meedum Weerasinghe 15,
