Personality development programs from Success Media

Success Media is a brand name that associates itself with personality development and positive thinking programs of international standard. The personality development company has also pioneered printing books on positive thinking in Sinhala.

A public-speaking program conducted by Success Media Company in progress.

Success Media will soon embark on an islandwide program on Effective Public Speaking to groom young executives, sales representatives, team leaders, entrepreneurs, young politicians and social workers. An array of programs will be held in the main cities.

Surveys and audits carried out by the company had revealed that the lack of self-confidence and public speaking skills hinder the success of many young professionals, politicians and entrepreneurs. This particular program has been designed to groom these people to tread on the path towards success with confidence. Enrolments for the program are now on.

A program will have only 10 participants to guarantee individual attention and effectiveness. The first two programs will be held in Colombo and Kandy. The three-day, Effective Public Speaking program will be practical oriented and highly interactive. Participants will be taught the finer points of effective public speaking and how to do away with drawbacks such as lack of self-confidence and shyness.

Director, Success Media Company, Feroz Miskin said surveys and audits carried out the world over and by his company in particular, had revealed that many educated and skilled youngsters who yearn to climb the corporate ladder or become successful businessmen lack effective public speaking skills. These skills can be developed from as early as schooling days and ideally should be continuously honed throughout one's adult life.

A person can project his or her image to society or in the professional sphere via effective public speaking.

Many are reluctant to participate in such programs fearing it may hamper their reputation and also due to the wrongful perception that it will be an insult to their education.

"We have designed the programs keeping those concerns in mind and we ensure a safe environment to express feelings and emotions and experiment with various styles of speaking without fear and inhibition. The program will make you a person who does not fear public-speaking any more," said Miskin.
