Kanrich Finance joins LankaPay network

Kanrich Finance is the latest member to join the Sri Lanka Interbank Payment System (SLIPS).

Customers transacting business at all 44 Kanrich Finance branches and centres islandwide can now effect same day transfer of funds to every single personal and corporate account in the country through the LankaPay SLIPS electronic fund transfer network. Customers can transfer up to Rs. 5 million per transaction and the advent of Kanrich Finance to LankaPay SLIPS also enables the company to extend an innovative new range of technology-based services to its growing customer base.

"Kanrich believes in forging the close ties with customers and stakeholders as a key facet of its business approach, thereby giving life to its tagline 'Relationships without Borders'," said Chairman and Director, Kanrich Finance, S. H. Piyasiri.

"Our goal is to build a financial powerhouse that is superior in every way to serve the biggest corporate and high net-worth individuals in the country and at the same time simple enough to give the same time and service to the poorest sections of society," he said.

LankaPay SLIPS Electronic Fund Transfer services can be accessed islandwide at over 3,000 branch locations of 39 member institutions which comprise 26 commercial banks, five specialised banks and eight NBFIs, and is accessible in any part of the country.

Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, LankaClear, Sunimal Weerasooriya said, "Kanrich brings in a new segment of customers to the LankaPay network as the company has extensive reach and penetration at the bottom of the pyramid, through its microfinance business."
