Union Assurance General rewards loyal customers

Mrs. Prameela receives the free cover from Marketing Manager Sasith Bambaradeniya.

Union Assurance General (UAG) has set out to reward most loyal customers through its recently launched Customer Loyalty Reward Scheme.

The scheme entails awarding female policyholders who have been with UAG for over six years, a free roadside assistance cover for one year. This cover provides assistance to customers in the event of a vehicle breakdown that they may encounter.

This initiative which was extended exclusively to female policyholders who are more vulnerable in unforeseen situations such as vehicle breakdowns, flat tyres and other mechanical glitches.

Over 270 female policyholders who had been with UAG for over six years were granted this free benefit from August 7. Several customers within Colombo were given a briefing on the cover offered by the senior management at the UAG head office on the same day.

"It is our loyal customers who have made us who we are today. Without them trusting us to serve their insurance needs we wouldn't be able to survive in such a competitive business environment. We, therefore, strongly feel it is our duty to give back to them, and that is what we hope to do with the Customer Loyalty Reward Scheme," said General Manger, Marketing and Distribution, UAG, Nihal Handunge.
