Metropolitan's new generation printers
Metropolitan Group launched Canon's next-generation original
Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) printers to the Sri Lankan market
last week.
The G series printers has three new models - the single function
G1000, multifunction G2000 and wireless 1 multifunction G3000 which
allow users to enjoy high volume printing at low running costs, while
ensuring excellent print quality on documents and photos.
"The three new novel and innovative printers that have been built for
heavy volumes are meant for offices which need quality and quantity of
documents and photos at an economical rate and unparalleled speed. We're
happy to bring this technology to Sri Lankan users and help them slash
printing costs," said Director, Canon Singapore (Pvt) Ltd., Too Kok
Yong, who arrived in Colombo for the launch. The three printers come
with large ink bottles that deliver high page yields to satisfy even the
most demanding of home and home office users - up to 6,000 pages of
black and white documents. Assistant General Manager,Metropolitan
Computers (Pvt) Ltd., Chaminda Rajapaksha said, "The printers are also
designed in a manner that they don't take up much needed valuable desk
space. We know that ink leakages are a very common problem. These three
new printers from Canon are designed in a way that unused ink comes with
an ink bottle with screw down caps that prevent leakage," said.
He said the printers come with a see-through integrated ink tanks
within the printer body so that the users may easily know when to
refill.
