Law enforcement seminar at Ceylon Chamber
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the National Police Commission (NPC)
and the Sri Lanka Police will hold a seminar with the participation of
corporate sector representatives on ‘Law Enforcement Matters’. The
seminar will also focus on how to collaborate between the police and the
businesses to effectively enforce the law. The seminar will be held at
the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce auditorium on Wednesday, September 14 at
2.00 pm.
ICT networking session for SMEs
The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka with the World
University Service of Canada (WUSC) will conduct a full-day ICT business
session for leading Colombo ICT companies to meet ICT SMEs of Puttalam,
Mannar, Vavuniya, Trincomlee, Batticaloa, Ampara, Hambantota, Matara and
Jaffna to share knowledge and build up partnerships and develop IT in
the districts. WUSC is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated in
providing education, employment and empowerment opportunities for youth
around the world) The session will be held on Thursday, September 22
from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm at the National Chamber Auditorium.

Kuru-Utumpala and Johann Peries at its head office in Kelaniya.

HSBC Sri Lanka wins three awards
HSBC Sri Lanka won three awards in recognition of the bank’s ability

For the second consecutive year, HSBC was announced the Best Foreign

JAT Holdings among Top 10 Manufacturers

the recently concluded Ceylon National Chamber of Industries Awards
ceremony at the Galadari Hotel in Colombo recently. Among them was an
