Giant snake escapes car, creates parking lot scare

A giant snake was discovered on top of an Arkansas woman's truck after she returned to a parking lot.Kristi Freeman shared a photo of the enormous snake, which was seen resting on top of her truck Saturday night as she prepared to leave Oaklawn Racing and Gaming in Hot Springs."People, make sure you secure your pets in public!" Freeman said. "About gave us a legitimate heart attack. I will not be sleeping tonight."

According to WXIA, Freeman notified a security guard who watched the snake until they were able to locate its owner.

The snake's owner said he uses it in educational programs and had left his car window open to give the snake some air while he gambled.

He quickly reported to the parking lot after learning the snake had escaped and neither animal control nor police were contacted.
