New wing at Hemas Hospital, Wattala
Hemas Hospital opened an advanced new wing with enhanced facilities
and launched surgical specialities at its Wattala facility on September
1.
The hospital's new wing will include a surgical ward comprising 27
rooms according to stringent international quality standards in addition
to an expanded dialysis centre.
Hemas Hospitals also launched the most up-to-date GI
(Gastroenterology) Centre.
Hemas Hospital, Wattala also launched a range of new surgical
specialities ranging from urology and ENT, to orthopaedics,
gastrointestinal and neurosurgery facilities, in addition to the
installation of its latest state-of-the-art 128 slice CT scanner.

The chief guest was Group Chief Executive of Hemas Holdings, Steven
Enderby. Chairman Hemas Hospitals Murtaza Esufally and Managing
Director, Dr Lakith Peiris together with officials from state sector
institutions were also present.
