Blood-donation camp at Galpatha Purana Vihara

A blood-donation campaign organised by the Milleniya Golden Jubilee Lions Club and the Galpatha Purana Vihara Dayake Sabha will be held on Saturday September 24 at the Viharaya premises.

Each donor will be presented with a certificate and a sapling, the organisers said.

National Workshop

The National Workshop on 'Separation Techniques in Natural Product Research' will be held from tomorrow, September 19 to 23 at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies, Kandy.

The Chief Guest at the inaugural session will be Prof. Yoshinori Fujimoto, an internationally reputed scientist and an Emeritus Professor of Tokyo Institute of Technology Japan.
