Sri Lanka Insurance powers Commando Challenge

Sri Lanka Insurance Motor Plus is the exclusive insurance partner and
a sponsor of the Commando Challenge Supercross motor racing event due to
begin tomorrow.
The event to be conducted under the theme 'Ride with the Commandos'
has been organised by the Commando Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army with
the Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Riders (SLARDAR).
The first phase will comprise a three-day rally and expedition
commencing tomorrow, which is expected to be more of a fun and leisure
event.
The second phase will be on Sunday, October 9 and will comprise the
Supercross racing challenge for motor cycles and cars.
This will be held at the racing track of the Commando Regiment
Training School at Uva Kuda Oya.
The track has been developed to international standards. The
Supercross will comprise over 12 motor car and 10 motor cycle events and
over 100 drivers and riders are due to participate.
