'Youth Business' teams up with GS1 Lanka

Youth Business Sri Lanka (YBSL) entered into a partnership with the GS1 Lanka to provide its young entrepreneurs with a range of services such as obtaining barcodes and providing them with access to the practices adopted in the global supply chain systems.

The agreement was signed between the two parties recently at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.

Youth Business Sri Lanka, which operates under the purview of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, is a national organization which encourages young people to launch their own business and transit from being job takers to job makers. GS1 Lanka, housed at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, is the sole authorized body to operate the global supply chain standard system in Sri Lanka.

Country Manager, YBSL, Varatharaja Kumaraguru and a representative of GS1 Lanka, Anthony Peiris signed the agreement.
