Australian university appoints MTI as local representative

The University of Western Australia (UWA) has appointed MTI Consulting as its representative in Sri Lanka for marketing and student recruitment.

UWA, Director of Future Students, Trish Rechici said, "UWA will work closely with MTI to market our courses and recruit students. This will include providing the advise and assistance for Sri Lankan students in terms of university application, facilitation and visa assistance."

"By obtaining the standardized training and certifications, MTI will become a Qualified Education Agent Counselor which signifies the highest ethical and professional standards in the industry," he said.

MTI's CEO Hilmy Cader said the partnership would provide an opportunity for Sri Lankan students to receive higher education from one of the top 100 universities in the world.

Since UWA is part of the Group of eight most prestigious universities in Australia, graduates of UWA will have high recognition and demand from corporates and society, locally and internationally, he said.
