Chevron partners with German Tech for 15th consecutive year

Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC recently commenced a training program on Lubricant technology for the final year students of Ceylon-German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI), for the 15th consecutive year.

This training program conducted by the two preeminent technical knowledge experts in Sri Lanka is strengthened by the mutual objective of gearing the future generation of automobile engineers with the latest and the most advance knowledge on automotive lubrication technology. The program is specially designed to enhance CGTTI student's knowledge with a more practical and insightful understanding of the lubricant technology and industry dynamics, both locally and globally.

This year the training program commenced on the 14th of September, at the CGTTI auditorium in Katubedda.

The program is structured to cover 10 lectures in 10 weeks by a panel of lubricant technology experts. The main areas covered in the training program includes an Introduction to Lubrication, Petrol and diesel engine oils, Industrial lubrication, lubricant performance standards.
