The hotel is only as good as its people. All 20 rooms, including the 'Governor's Suite' are equipped with all modern star class facilities, including hot/cold water, telephone, TV, heaters, and a 24-hour room service.

The 'Waterfalls' restaurant which is famous for its quality Eastern, Western, and delicious Sri Lankan cuisine, has two separate sections for smokers and non-smokers. Its walls are decorated with beautiful pictures of waterfalls in and around Nuwara Eliya.

The well-stocked Captain William's bar is very popular not only amongst holiday makers but the planting and business community in the region.

The 'Barnes' Banquet hall at The Heritage can accommodate over 200 guests and is popular for banquet and wedding receptions.

The 1-1/2 acre land on which The Heritage stands, has been marvellously landscaped to resemble a 'mini-botanical' garden.

It won prizes on a regular basis at the 'April Bloom' Flower Competition, organised by the Nuwara Eliya Municipality, and for the last few years, it has been selected as the best garden (Medium Category) in 'Little England'.

The Heritage, now under new management - T he Heritage Group of Hotels in Sri Lanka, a company specialised in developing and managing Heritage Hotels, is a subsidiary of The Heritage Lanka (UK) Ltd. whose roots are in the hospitality industry.
