Christmas and peace in Sri Lanka
What has become almost our theme song for
Christmas has been peace. Every year we have been re-echoing the
song of the Angelic choir to the shepherds announcing peace to men
of goodwill. In the strain of this song we have been praying for
peace in our own dear land. Together with this we have also appealed
for a de-commercialization of Christmas celebrations. As to what all
this has brought about remains to be assessed.

It is well-known fact that the environment in
which a person lives determines to considerable extent the Status of
that individual. This is more so in the case of children, who are
more vulnerable and sensitive to harmful environmental factors than
are adults.

To raise funds for tsunami displaced at Kosgoda
Jan and her husband Ian Linch survivors of
tsunami while holidaying in Maldives, successfully completed a
housing project for tsunami displaced at Kosgoda named 'Aurora
Village'. Jan and her husband Ian Linch were interviewed by W. T. J.
