Award winning local brands showcased at Triad's 'Branded Brands'
A rare insight into two of Sri Lanka's best loved home grown brands
was provided recently at "Branded Brands" a presentation organised by
Triad Advertising. The presentation, at the Royal Colombo Golf Club
recently delved into the brand success stories of Lanka Soy and Baby
Cheramy with the brands' custodians making insightful analysis of how
their brands were built and nurtured.
"Branded Brands" was the first forum in a series of knowledge sharing
exercises developed by Triad Advertising for their staff and clients.
2007 was termed "The year of learning" at Triad and this initiative was
undertaken by the Group's education and training arm TriadUNI.
Among the initiatives to mark the year of learning have been more
than fifteen internal and external learning session for Triad staff.
Group Product Manager, Hemas - Ruki Mendis and Senior Brand Manager -
Sudha Sathiyanathan, spoke of the strategies they pursued to create a
turnaround that made Baby Cheramy the market leader, far outpacing
strong multinational giants.
Director of Marketing and Sales at Ceylon Biscuits - Nandana
Wickramage presented the journey of making Lanka Soy a household name by
pursuing highly target driven strategies. Marketing Manager Biscuits and
Soy - Nadeeja Karunatilake and LankaSoy Brand Manager - Theja Pieris
were also present. |
