Fresh breeze from Hanthana

colleagues bring, 'Hanthanen Ena Pawanak' at Sarachchandra Open Air
Theatre, University of Peradeniya from 6.30p.m. onwards on 4, March.
This will certainly be a turning of a new chapter of the university
history as this type of a novel programme has not taken place earlier.

This exceptional programme is a combination and gathering of several
talents on one stage. undergraduates from faculties of Engineering,
Medicine, Arts and alumni will perform their own compositions on stage.
Lyrics, idea and creative direction by Tharindu Weerasinghe who is
serving as a temporary assistant lecturer at the faculty of Engineering
at University of Peradeniya.
Music directions by Manoj Alawathukotuwa who serves as a lecturer of
department of Fine Arts of university of Peradeniya.

This is a brainchild of Tharindu Weerasinghe which could have only
been a dream without the assistance of Manoj Alawathukotuwa, the Music
Director.
Songs written and composed on spirituality, parental love, romance,
patriotism and betrayal of love will probably make the audience delight.
A book comprises songs and a CD will be launched at the play.
The Chief Guest will be the veteran poet, journalist and
cinematographer Mr. Buddhadasa Galappatti.
The team invites all those who are interested in the performance to
make presence in the show.
