Wasgamuwa Park double murder case put off

The Wasgamuwa National Park's double murder case was taken up for hearing before the Dambulla Magistrate on 15.2.2008 and was postponed for 21.2 2008 when two suspects wanted to make further statements to court.

The four suspects allegedly involved in the murder of the Wasgamuwa National Park's Game Guard and the Circuit Bungalow Keeper are R. M. Jayaweera, A. M. Nimal Karunaratne alias Wedi Chuti, M.J.S. Sampath Kumara and A.M Sunil Bandara alias Rahlee all of Hungamalagama Dehiattakandiya.

Chief Inspector S.M. Farook of the Special Investigation Bureau of the Central Province appeared for the prosecution.
