Cancer patient needs funds
Thirty seven year old Sajeewa Nishanthi of 158/A, Sama Mawatha,
Godagama, Homagama is suffering from Acute myeloid leukaemia. She was
given chemotherapy at the Cancer Institute.
The Christian Medical College, Vellore, India will undertake the bone
marrow transplant which is expected to cost around Rs. 500,000.
Her husband, who is unemployed, with two young daughters, appeals to
the generous public to contribute to this worthy cause.

Help restore her vision
Sixty-three-year old Mrs. Piyaseeli Ranasinghe of 71, Magammana,
Chinakkotuwa, Homagama is turning completely blind due to a complicated
eye ailment.
The surgery to restore her vision costs around Rs. 200,000 which she
cannot afford and she humbly appeals to the generous public to help
raise the funds.
