Commissioning and Wings Parade

The Commissioning and Wings Parade of the 50th Intake Officer Cadets and Passing out Parade of the 136th Regular and 94th Volunteer Airmen Recruit Courses was held on August 21. Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was the chief guest.

The passing out parade of the Air Force took place on Friday. The parade is significant in the history of the Sri Lanka Air Force since it's the first to be held following the defeat of terrorism.

The new pilot officers and airmen will carry the glory of victory gained by their senior counterparts playing a decisive role in the air campaign.
