Bloomfield were 53 for 4 in reply to Colts 140 on the first day of their Under-23 Division I cricket encounter at Reid Avenue, yesterday.

Leg spinner Dilanka Auwardt top scored for Colts with an unbeaten 38 and also took 3 for 12 as the match ended around 5.50 due to bad light.

Colts CC: 140 in 61.2 overs (Nipun Chamara 28, Rajiva Weerasinghe 14, Dilanka Auwardt 38 n.o., Tharaka Cooray 20, Dilshan Munaweera 3 for 46, Amal Atapattu 3 for 13).

Bloomfield: 53 for 4 at close in 12 overs (Dilshan Munaweera 15, Madhawa Warnapura 10, Anoj Ketapearachchi 16 not out, Dilanka Auwardt 3 for 12.

Sameera top scorer for Ragama CC

A top score of 50 by skipper Sameera Soysa and useful contributions from Gihan Dilruk (46) and Nizam Mazahir (39) helped Ragama CC to reach 224 on the first day of their Under-23 Division I cricket encounter against NCC at the Thurstan College grounds Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha, yesterday.
