DIMO receives EM1 recognition

Diesel and Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) recently received 'Electrical and Mechanical 1' (EM1) recognition in five main categories from the Institute for Construction and Development (ICTAD), the apex accreditation institute for construction and development in the country.

ICTAD registration is a requirement for obtaining government contracts and there are over 2,500 construction contractors registered with ICTAD on various grades.

A spokesman for DIMO said, "The company has received EM1 gradings for Refrigeration (RF), Electrical Installations (Low Tension) (EE-LT), Electrical Installation (High Tension) (EE-HT), Extra Low Voltage Installations (Data, Telecommunication and Security Systems) (ELV), Fire Detection, Protection and Suppression (FDPS)."
