Core issues must be addressed - Commissioner, HRC

The Government has appointed a three-member committee headed by a former Supreme Court judge to probe the incident and report to the Prisons Commissioner General. Meanwhile, the Commissioner General has called for an interim report. Once this committee wraps up investigations and the criminal investigation by law enforcing authorities ends, we would be compelled to conduct a probe.
