Certificate course for fitness trainers
The Sri Lanka Foundation, under the purview of the Presidential
Secretariat is pleased to invite you to the inauguration of the above
program, scheduled to be held on November 19, 2012 at 4.15 p.m. at the
Auditorium of Sri Lanka Foundation.
The Sri Lanka Foundation (SLF) proposed to implement this trainers'
training program in collaboration with Ministry of Sports in improving
the technical knowledge in physical training and skills of fitness
trainers in order to standardize their employability at a global level.
Also this program is empowered by Calton Sports Networks, the premier
sports channel in Sri Lanka.
This program aims to be conducted as a three months course and
focusing the Fitness trainers, sports coaches and instructors work in
health clubs, fitness or recreation centres, gyms, schools, hospitals,
universities, yoga centres and resorts and client's homes. The outline
of the program has been designed to cover the areas including the
technical subjects and industry related soft skills in line with the
fitness trainers' job profile.
Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage has been invited to be
the Chief Guest of the above program and Anura Jayawickrame (Secretary,
Ministry of Sports), Yoshitha Rajapaksa (Chairman, CSN Networks),
Nishantha Ranathunga (CEO, CSN Networks) will be the Guests of Honour
gracing this event.
