CIS 'A' in 23-15 win over Gateway

Colombo International School 'A' scored a fine 23-15 win over Gateway International College in their Kandy Schools boys Under-19 basketball championship organised by the Kandy District basketball Association and played at St. Anthony's Girls' College courts, Katugastota yesterday.

In another match Azar Central College 'A' stunned St. Anthony's College Kandy 12-6 after leading 7-3 at the breather.

Kingswood College 'A' made sure that they enter the finals of this championship by defeating the strong Azar Central College 'A' Akurana by the close margin of 14-12 after leading 7-5 at lemons.

Colombo International School 'B' beat St. Anthony's College 17-16, Colombo International School 'A' beat Walala 'A' Ratnayake Sport School 18-8.
