"Bodhi Pooja" to invoke blessings on Tony Greig

As you are aware, Tony Greig one of the ardent and strongest supporters of Sri Lanka Cricket, who gave a tremendous fillip during the complexed and challenging times of Sri Lanka cricket, has been detected with cancer and is undergoing treatment in Sydney, Australia.

Tony has demonstrated his love and passion for Sri Lanka cricket and to our country with his extraordinary flair as a commentator in no uncertain manner, winning the hearts of millions of cricket fans in our country.

We have been inundated with requests from many past cricketers, administrators, sports media personnel and the cricket loving public of Sri Lanka to express our gratitude and solidarity to him in this hour of need.

It is in this background that we have arranged a "Bodhi Pooja" at the Gangarama Temple, Colombo 2 on Thursday the 22nd of November 2012 at 5.00 p.m.
