Thalangama police conduct campaign against Dengue menace

Deputy Inspector General of Police Sumith Edirisinghe said that Senior DIG Anura Senanayake is organising the campaign assisted by Senior SP, Divisional ASP Kamal Paliskara and Inspector Upul Perera, OIC at Thalangama Police Station.

DIG Sumith Edirisingha said that IGP N.K. Illangakoon is also keen to wipe out the dengue menace and directed the police to organise several campaigns to eradicate the dengue menace from the country.

Inspector Upul Perera said that they have organised this campaign not only among the Government Schools in the area but also in other schools in the area including the International Schools. Several Public Health Inspectors in the area assisting the Thalangama Police to eradicate the Dengue menace to protect the younger generation.

DIG Sumith Edirisinghe said that several policemen and women in the Thalangama Police Station participated in the Dengue eradication campaign. The people in the Thalangama Police praise the OIC Upul Perera who has taken much interest in the elimination of the dengue menace.
