
Editors beg Ra-Blue and Big Lady
Editors of two bankrupt Sinhala newspapers met the Retired Big Lady
and Ra-Blue to seek financial assistance to keep their rag sheets going.
The editors had given a firm assurance to shield Ra-Blue from his party
reformists and help the Big Lady to return to active politics. The duo
has found a few businessmen to help the editors with the begging bowls.
Ka-Roo's secret pilgrimage
Ka-Roo, the Victory-Sun, went on a secret trip to the kovil that is
Munneeswaran. He did not give any details of his trip to the Green
stalwarts. He had gone there to fulfill a vow, as he has advanced a step
towards fulfilling his dream of becoming the leader of the Elephant
Party.
Ra-Blue apologises to shield Kind-Leader
A tense situation arose at the United Front meeting at Nalandaramaya
last week after Sun Kind-Leader's identified small political parties as
three-wheel parties. An irate Mana-May-Indra took Kind-leader head on
and bombarded him with loads of accusations. A visibly shaken
Kind-Leader breathed a sigh of relief after Ra-Blue and Hema-Prince
tendered an apology to neutralise the Sihala Heritage leader.
Soo-me goes for European attire
Soo-me, the One-sa, attended the Korean celebrations on Thursday,
clad in typical European attire with a red tie. Though several
politicians were in national dress, Soo-me went for the European style
although his Bell Party makes a song and dance over Western
conspiracies. |
