Edoctor Lanka launches pregnancy care app
Awaiting a baby's birth is a crucial time. The health of the mother
and child should be carefully monitored at this time to ensure that both
mother and child are safe and healthy.
E doctor was launched with the view to see that anyone who can access
the web can have reliable medical help. In today's context with almost
everyone having a smartphone there is no reason why they should not have
access to sound medical advice said Managing Director Edoctor Lanka
Chris Weerasinghe at the launch of the Pregnancy care service App in
Colombo last week. The App is designed to show the correct weight and
other information that pertains to the period of a pregnancy.
The expectant mother would be able to be prepared for the changes
that she goes through at this period and be for warned if any this is as
it should be. This will help them to seek necessary medical attention
promptly and avoid complications later. Further he added that the advice
also includes post natal care as well. Further advice on physiotherapy
diets and several other important areas of help is accessible through
this app. Once the baby is born the vaccination schedules are made and
SMS reminders are sent to the individual mothers to help them ensure the
baby's well being at all times he concluded. |
