Hillwood girl for Melbourne netball

Hashini Erangi Perera of Hillwood College, Kandy was picked to represent Sri Lanka Schools at the Waverly International Schools Netball Tournament 2015 in Melbourne, Australia from June 30 to July 3, 2015. In 2014 Hashini was selected for an International Schools Netball Tournament held in Malaysia.

She started her netball career in the year 2010 under veteran netball coach, Aruni Hemakumari. Hashini being 5ft 11 inches tall was selected to the Sri Lanka National Netball pool last year when she was a member of the Kandy District Netball team which became runners-up at the National Games in 2014. She said that she intends to continue playing netball and represent her country as well as continue her studies.
