The management and senior staff of Mobitel warmly welcomed Minister
of Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure Harin Fernando and
Deputy Minister Tharanath Basnayake on their first visit to the
company's head office at W. A. D. Ramanayake Mawatha, Colombo 2 last
week.
Minister Fernando said he would embark on development projects which
would enhance the ICT sector. He stressed the importance of sustaining
the growing demand for digital infrastructure by being on a par with
global trends and innovations.
The senior management of Mobitel showcased future plans and discussed
ways and means of contributing to the economy.
