Travelling European Film Festival 2015
The 8th European Film Festival presented by the European Union
Delegation in Colombo in partnership with several European cultural
institutions and diplomatic missions, will continue with its travelling
show throughout this month.
Nine
selected European Films, will be screened at Horan (9 to 11), Batticaloa
(16-18) and Matara (23-25) before its conclusion at the National Film
Corporation Cinema in Colombo on October 29 and November 1. The
travelling Film Festival is being partnered by Sripalee Campus,
University of Colombo, Eastern University and University of Ruhuna.

PADDINGTON
The comic misadventures of a young marmalade-loving Peruvian bear
with a passion for all things British, who travels to London in search
of a home. He is discovered at Paddington Station by the kindly Brown
family, who read the label around his neck “Please look after this bear.

THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING
The story of the relationship between the famous physicist Stephen

The organising committee of the festival is chaired by the European
Union Delegation in Colombo and coordinated by Agenda 14 which is a
not-for-profit film community in Sri Lanka.
This year the participating countries are Denmark, France, Germany,
Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland and UK. |
