Girls High School win at U-13 netball

The Under 13 netball team of Girls High School, Kandy ended first out of 75 teams that contested the all-island netball tournament held recently at the Bernard Aluvihare Stadium, Matale.

Apart from this, Girls High School won the the Kandy district and Provincial tournaments held prior to the all island tournament. The team comprised of Vihara Marasinghe (captain), Charuka Kaduwela, Sobitha Vijayakumar, Pabasara Rodrigo, Maheshini Wathikara, Mahesha Bandara, Dulmini Tillekaratne, Aruni Wijeratne, Tharushi Samaratunge, Isuri Attanayake and Sithari Jayasekera.(UJ)
