People's Liberation Front has decided to face the forthcoming Local Government elections alone and the effort is not to send somebody into the local government bodies but to safeguard and expand their power base at local government level, JVP Parliamentary Group Leader and Propaganda Secretary Wimal Weerawansa told the Sunday Observer.
