American Express Cards launches biggest supermarket sale

Nations Trust Bank, sole licensed issuer of American Express Cards in Sri Lanka launched "The Big Supermarket sale", a media release said.

The Supermarket sale which is exclusively for all American Express Cardmembers, offers discounts of up to 10% on the Cardmembers total supermarket purchases during the promotional period which commenced on August 1, 2006.

The promotion would run up to August 31 at all Supermarket islandwide.

'With an overwhelming response to our "First ever Fuel sale", and based on our continuous cardmember feedback we have introduced "The Big Supermarket Sale" which cuts across the supermarket category, offering exclusive savings up to 10% irrespective of what supermarket our cardmembers would shop, keeping in with their lifestyles.

At a time when consumption goods prices are on a regular increase, we feel it fit and appropriate to reward our Cardmembers in a meaningful way, by offering a saving on their supermarket shopping' said Head of American Express Cards at Nations Trust Bank, Priyantha Talwatte.
