Suntel, HDFC to offer CDMA phones with home loans

Suntel has teamed up with HDFC to offer a convenient and affordable option for those building their dream homes to also own the latest CDMA telephone.

As part of an agreement signed recently, HDFC Home Loan customers can apply to purchase a Suntel Chat CDMA phone, under an affordable easy payments scheme called HDFC's "Sirisara" lifestyle home loan.

The unique factor about this partnership is that the monthly installment of the phone can be added on to the monthly HDFC loan installment. The offer is designed to lessen the burden on those building new homes - thereby lowering the potential impact of purchasing a brand new phone.

Customers have the option of selecting a repayment period that varies from five to fifteen years. The installment amount would be determined based on the selected repayment period, and thereafter added on to the monthly loan installment amount. The offer is open to all HDFC bank customers, who may apply for the offer by simply forwarding an application at any HDFC Branch.
