Another CSR project by Union Assurance

Displaying the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Union Assurance Ltd. commenced a new project in providing security check points.

This is a unique project Union Assurance started together with the Sri Lanka police to tighten the security in the country by installing shelters for police security checkpoints in strategic locations.

Director, Police - Public Relations Bureau, Rienzie Perera said that Union Assurance is a company which lives by its slogan "We will take care of you for life". Erecting shelters to the police check points in the country was done in the interest of the public. He thanked Union Assurance for taking such an initiative. He also thanked the company on behalf of the IGP Victor Perera and the entire police department.

Assistant General Manager - Marketing, Union Assurance, Wiranjan Peiris said that CSR projects of this nature were the need of the hour; He added that this is yet another project initiated on a request by Senior Superintendent of Police, Rienzie Perera.

We also conducted a crime prevention campaign with the support of the police and provincial authorities.
