Ratnam vs Air force 'Kicks off' Kit Premier League today

FOOTBAll: The Kit Premier League Football Tournament conducted by the Football Federation of Sri Lanka has attracted 24 leading clubs and the tournament will be worked off in two divisions.

In A' division Group I, the defending champions Ratnam SC will paly alongside, Holcim FA Cup Champions Negombo Youth SC, Kandy York, Jupiters SC, Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Air Force.

The Championships will be kicked-off today with Ratnam SC taking on Sri Lanka Air Force at the Sugathadasa Stadium.

In the Group 'B' the six teams are: Last Year's runner-up Blue Star SC Holcim FA Cup runners-up Saunders SC, New Youngs SC Wennappuwa, Police SC, Renown SC and Old Bens SC.

The two best teams in each group will play in the final round to decide the champion.

Twelve teams will be seen in action in the 'B' division tournament.

Group 'A' - Java Lane SC, New Star SC, Matara SC, Park SC Kalutara, Super Beach SC.

Group 'B' - Golden Star SC, Maligawatta Youth SC, Hyline SC, Pelicans SC, Three Star Sc, Sri Lanka Navy.

The same tournament format will apply as the 'A' division to find the champion and runner-up.
