Renal patient needs kidney, funds

Mrs. Piduma Hewa Gajanayake (51) of No. 404/1, Talpawila, Kekanadura, Matara, former staffer of Matara Madya Vidyalaya is suffering from an acute renal disease. Specialists at the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital have recommended the transplant of an 'O' positive kidney.

A twice-weekly haemodialysis treatment costs Rs. 24,000/- per month. Due to the needy circumstances, her family appeals for public contributions which can be remitted to Account No. 0340-02581166-101, Seylan Bank, Boralesgamuwa.
