Asian Business Forum 2008 on Jan 26
The Asian Marketing Federation (AMF) in collaboration with the Sri
Lanka Institute of Marketing will hold the first 'Asian Business Forum
2008' under the theme 'Business in the new world' on January 26.
President AMF, Prof. K. Kamalgoda said the forum will comprise a wide
range of topics that will focus on doing business in Asia and will not
be confined to marketing.
"The first annual forum of the AMF to be held in Sri Lanka with three
eminent keynote speakers from Asia will be of great significance to the
corporate and marketing fraternity in the region", he said.
The President of the World Marketing Association, Hermawan Kartajaya,
Prof. Hooi Den Huan of the Nanyan Technological University of Singapore
and Prof. Arnold Dipickere of the Murdoch University of Australia will
be the speakers at the forum.
"In a rapidly changing global business scenario it is vital to
capitalise on opportunities and maximise on existing technology to reap
a high return. The forum will focus on effectively promoting marketing
in Asia", Prof. Kamalgoda said.
The forum will comprise three sessions on topics such as Marketing in
the changing landscape, Tapping global and Asian opportunities and using
technology to create marketing opportunities.
