20th death anniversary of Vijaya Kumaratunga

Vijaya was one of the greatest actors on the silver screen who left an multi talented indelible mark. Handsome charming Vijaya acted in nearly 300 films including a few Tamil Nadu films.

He mollified audience by his astonishing acting in films. Apart from being a heart -throbbing actor he was also a singer of many romantic compositions.

The politician - turned actor became the voice of the public, but unfortunately was shot dead on 16, February 1988. His commemoration ceremony was organized by the Vijaya Kumaratunga Foundation recently.
