Aussies strengthened with Brett Lee

Table leaders Australia will be further strengthened by the inclusion of Brett Lee who will spearhead the Aussie pace attack after skipping two games in the tenth Commonwealth Bank Limited Over-series match at the Sydney Cricket Ground in a day- night encounter today.

The game is more significant to India as Australia has already secured a place in the best of three finals and a win for India will further enhance their chances to meet the host country finals.

Sri Lanka who has two more crucial matches to be played against India in Hobart on Wednesday in a day match and on Friday against Australia at Melbourne ought to register victories to feature in the finals.

Australian batsmen although unable to put up match winning totals, have hit back superbly with their bowlers even without their main strike bowlers Brett Lee. Nathan Bracken, Mitchele Johnson and James Hopes have provided the much needed fire power for the Aussies in .

India also, has hit back with their fastmen , specially Ishant Sharma who could be catergorised as the find of the tournament ,but the lack of finish of their batsmen have put them in a tricky situation quite often.

Australia is perched on top of the table with 22 points winning four of their six matches losing one to India and one no decision. India with wins against Australia and Sri Lanka, losing two and two no decisions has 12 points while Sri Lanka only with one win, four loses and one no decision has 6 points.
