Leasing package from CLC for Suzuki Maruti
Commercial Leasing Company Ltd (CLC) entered into a partnership with
Associated Motorways PLC (AMW) to offer special leasing packages for the
Suzuki Maruti range.
The partnership would provide Sri Lankans the opportunity to own a
high quality yet affordable vehicle through a flexible financial
solution.
The leasing facility has a host of features including leasing up to
the full value of the vehicle, special discount, easy documentation
process, repayment period up to six years and special gift for every
vehicle financed by CLC.
Elephant House partners Uthuren Dakunata
Elephant House sponsored the national cycle parade ‘Uthuren Dakunata’
organised by the Sri Lanka Boy Scouts Association.
The parade commenced from Point Pedro, Jaffna on February 13 to reach
Colombo on February 19 with the scouts being greeted by First Lady
Shiranthi Rajapaksa on arrival in Colombo.
“The country needs future leaders to propel a robust economic growth.
The scouts movement is an organisation that nurtures and grooms the
younger generation to take up leadership roles in tomorrow’s world. As a
responsible corporate citizen we support initiatives of this nature,”

Ceylon Shipping Lines appoints Aramex as its partner in ME
Ceylon Shipping Lines has appointed Aramex International as its
partner in the Gulf and Middle East to serve the Sri Lankan expatriate
community in meeting their personal baggage shipping requirements.
This partnership will allow Sri Lankan’s based in the ME to hassle
free shipping as Aramex will pick up their cargo from their doorstep for
pickup in Sri Lanka in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner.
The partnership will commence with the coverage of the UAE and
extended to the rest of the ME countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain,
Qatar, Oman, Lebanon, Jordan and Kuwait.
Korean assistance to develop NE

South Korea will continue to assist Sri Lanka with the assistance
extended to the North and East. It will consider providing an
international standard conference hall for the North. These pledges
emerged when visiting South Korean Vice Minister of Knowledge and
Economy Park Young June met with Minister of Industries and Commerce
Rishard Bathiudeen on February 23.
Ceylon & Foreign Trades supports SOS Children’s Villages
Ceylon & Foreign Trades PLC an authorised dealer for Ars, Aquawipe,
Parachute and Saffola brands in Sri Lanka has decided to support SOS
Children’s Villages in Sri Lanka, a social development organisation that
shelters almost 1000 children at risk.
