Sampath Bank's Senior Citizen Account Holders receive benefits

The Sampath Bank's Sanhinda Saver account, designed for citizens over 50 years provides a range of benefits that will allow effective management of funds focussing on healthcare, travel and special facilities.

One of the key features of the Sanhinda Saver account is the offer of free medical vouchers to account holders based on annual average account balances. These vouchers can be used at the Asiri Group of Hospitals, Nawaloka, Durdans, Oasis and their associated laboratories and collection centres islandwide by the Sanhinda Saver account holders. Sanhinda Saver account holders, irrespective of account balances, can avail themselves to discounts of up to 15 percent for services such as hospitalisation, laboratory investigations, x-rays and scans at all these hospitals which can be obtained when payments are made via the Sanhinda Saver Visa debit card.

Another feature is the account's bi-monthly interest payments, a facet unique to the Sanhinda Saver account holders.

Since Sri Lanka's elderly population is expected to grow rapidly in the next few years, and health is an area that requires extra support. The Sampath Sanhinda Saver account boasts of an array of additional features to benefit its account holders including a 0.25 percent increased interest rate for $ savings deposits and special discounts to hotels such as the John Keells Group of Hotels, and Amaya Resorts and to overseas travel through Gabo Travels and MacKinnons American Express Travel, as well as discounts at select retailers such as Vision Care and DSI. Free local and foreign travel options are available to these Sanhinda Saver account holders (through an annual raffle draw) who can avail themselves to a host of destinations.
