Commercial Bank launches 365-day banking in Kurunegala

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon launched a 365-day banking service in Kurunegala.

The Bank's main branch at Suratissa Mawatha, Kurunegala offers extended banking hours to customers from 9.00 am to 3. 00 pm on weekdays and from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm on weekends and statutory holidays, the Bank said.

A spokesperson for the Bank said that this service would also benefit the growing number of recipients of Commercial Bank's "e-Exchange" and MoneyGram instant money transfers in the Kurunegala area. The Kurunegala branch is equipped with facilities available at other Commercial Bank branches and is computer-linked to all branches and service points of the Bank islandwide, enabling online real-time banking.
