Superb double by Sohan

A fine all-round performance by Sohan Kariyawasam 58 runs and 4 for 32 and another good spell by Chalana de Silva 4 for 38 enabled Mahinda College, Galle to gain a 27 run first innings win over Prince of Wales College in their annual inter-school first eleven cricket match concluded at Moratuwa.

In reply to visitors total of 165 Cambrians were all out for a paltry 138 runs with Ashen Mendis scoring 35 runs. When bad light stopped play at 4.45 p.m. Visitors were 105 for 7 with Thikshila de Silva 38. Cambrian Shanuka Dulaj had a match bag of 9 for 115.
