Sebs-DSS game ends in a draw

St. Sebastian's College, Moratuwa drew with D.S. Senanayake Vidyalaya, in their inter-school first eleven cricket match worked off at Moratuwa.

Resuming at 124 for 8 Visitors did well to finish with 183 runs. Sachin Karunarathne was unbeaten on 49 and Amila Aponso claimed 5 for 32.

In reply when bad light stopped play at 5.15 p.m. Sebs were 151 for 9 with Peshan Anthony making the top score of 33 runs. Tarindu Illampperuma took 4 for 35 for the Visitors.

D.S. Senanayake Vidyalaya: (overnight 124/8) 183 all out - Sachin Karunarathne 49 not out, Amila Aponso 5 for 32, Isuru Mendis 2 for 47, Anushka Perera 2 for 24.

St. Sebastians': 151 for 9 (Peshan Anthony 33, Shan Fernando 26, Sachintha Fonseka 21 not out, Tarindu Illampperuma 4 for 35, Harith Maduwantha 2 for 15, Binara Fernando 2 for 28).
