Ranala Model Junior School gets multipurpose hall from CBLFoods

Ceylon Biscuits Ltd's subsidiary company CBL Foods International Pvt Ltd opened the newly built school hall of Ranala Model Junior School.

A donation by CBL Foods at a cost of Rs 7 million,the multipurpose hall consists of meeting rooms, classrooms and a mini auditorium forstudent assemblies and performances.

The school is in the vicinity of CBL Foods which is also situated in Ranala, Kaduwela and is an integral part of CBL's community philanthropy.

The building was handed over to the school by Group Director of CBL SusanthaGunawardena and Managing Director of CBL Foods, ImalFonseka. Additional Director of Education for the Western Province, WimalGunaratnegraced the ceremony along with several senior CBL directors, principal and staff of Ranala Model Junior School, students and parents.
