Wijitha Group obtains ISO 22000-2005

Wijitha Group of Companies (Pvt) Ltd, Mawanella, a production and manufacturing entity obtained the Food Safety Management certification, ISO 22000-2005 for their operations.

"Before acquiring this certification Wijitha Group obtained various quality and excellence awards such as ISO 9001-2008, Halal and National Rajatha Award in 2011 for their best practices," a spokesman for Wijitha Group said.

Here Chairman and CEO of Wijitha Group, Cassim Rahumathulla receives the certificate from Director and CEO for Indexpo, Shantha Kuruppumullage. The top management of Wijitha Group also participated.
